I was very fortunate I received the Daiwa Foundation Reseach fellowship for researching English ceramics, and I made trip to London, UK between Dec 2005 and Feb 2006 for about two months. I had group show at Harlequin Gallery in Greenwich, I saw many museums and galleries during my trip in UK, and met many nice English potters who were so kind and nice to me.

This is the memory of my trip for two months and I never forget how I had good time there.

Round the Europe Tour, Summer 2003
It is very fun to travel many places. We started our traveling in the beginning of June 2003, and it's over in the beginning of July.
We just brought one bagpack, map and Eurailpass. As a result, we didn't buy anything as a gift, but got great experiences through nine countries in Europe.
And the 10th country was Tokyo, Japan on July 2nd, 2003. It has been long journey since we left Japan in 2001.
London,
UK
We really like London because there are so much fun to see in the London city.
Most museums are free admission (They accept donation though)
and you can see a lots of arts. This big ballon is also art work in front of Tate Modern in 2003.
Paris,
France
Paris is also very artistic city. We couldn't visit many museums, the only Pompidou and Louvre because of huge!
We loved French bread a lot. It was cheap, but very delicious, so we bought it every morning.
Florence,
Italy
After Nice (France), we went to Florence. It was small, but beatifule city. There are many historical buldings.
We visited Ufifiti Museum, it was wonderfule. We went there very early in the morning, so we don't have to wait,
but when we were leaving Museum we could see long line in front of the entrance.
If you don't want to wait you had better go there early in the morning.
Faenza,
Italy
I am not sure if you know about Faenza, but most ceramic artists must know it. It is famous ceramic city and there is an international ceramic competition in every 2 years. We visited ceramic museum and we could see Faenza ceramic competition fortunately.
Zagreb,
Croatia
It is my favorite conuntry in Europ in this traveling. People are very nice with many smails and town is peacefule. We found out that because they have just finished war.
They used to a part of Yugoslavia and they got become independene in 1991, but they still had civil war. And finally they have got peace!
